Brent Martin
Business Law Specialist
Brent Martin has been a partner at Farrell & Martin since its formation and specializes in Business Law, including forming new entities, acquiring and merging businesses, partner agreements and dispute resolution. A graduate of Illinois State University with an Applied Computer Science degree, Brent previously owned his own computer consulting business, so he completely understands the stress and issues related to business ownership.
Brent diligently works with clients to create a foundation for success. He truly enjoys working with the new entrepreneur who has great ideas but is not quite sure how to implement them.
Since graduating from St. Louis University School of Law (Cum Laude) in 1993, Brent has practiced in St. Charles County and the greater St. Louis area providing legal representation to hundreds of business clients. He also is very involved in the legal formation of non-profit organizations and facilitating the acquisition of 501(c)(3) status with the Internal Revenue Service. Because of his passion for kids and youth sports, Brent serves on the board of directors for Missouri KIDS, a non-profit. He also serves as an adviser to Citizens National Bank in St. Peters, Missouri.
Brent Martin is a member of the Missouri Bar and the St. Charles County Bar Association. His initial consultations are always free and he offers many resource contacts to affiliated businesses in order to meet their needs related to banking, insurance, bookkeeping, accounting, and financial advice.
Outside of the office, Brent appreciates the time he spends with his children. He is also an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys fishing, hunting, camping, and hiking.
